Where is Talbot Fitness Carlow located?
Talbot Fitness is located within Talbot Hotel Carlow on Sleaty Road, just minutes from Carlow town centre with easy access from the M9 motorway. Complimentary parking is available for all members, hotel guests and visitors.
What are your opening hours?
Our leisure centre is open seven days a week.
Monday – Friday: 6.00am – 9.00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 7.00am – 8.00pm
Bank Holiday Mondays follow weekend opening hours.

Do I need to become a member to use Talbot Fitness?
No. Everyone is welcome. You can become a member or purchase a Day Pass if you're visiting Carlow or would simply like to use our facilities for the day.
How much is a Day Pass?
Our Day Pass costs €15 per person.

We offer a range of flexible membership options, including Individual, Couple, Family, Student and Corporate Memberships, with both monthly Direct Debit and annual payment options available.
Do you offer fitness classes?
Yes. We offer a variety of fitness classes suitable for all fitness levels. Our timetable is updated regularly, with classes designed to improve strength, fitness, mobility and overall wellbeing.
Is Talbot Fitness suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Whether you're new to exercise or returning after a break, our welcoming fitness team is here to help you achieve your goals.
Do you have a swimming pool?
Yes. Talbot Fitness features a heated 20-metre indoor swimming pool, perfect for fitness swimming, leisure swimming and family fun.
We also have a dedicated children's pool.
Can children use the swimming pool?
Yes. Children are welcome to use the swimming pool during designated family swim times when accompanied by a responsible adult.
Please note that children under 16 are not permitted to use the gym, sauna or steam room.
Do you have a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi?
Yes. Members, Day Pass visitors and hotel residents can all enjoy access to our sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
Do hotel guests have access to Talbot Fitness?
Yes. All guests staying at Talbot Hotel Carlow enjoy complimentary access to Talbot Fitness throughout their stay.

Can hotel guests use the padel courts?
Yes. Hotel guests are welcome to book our outdoor padel courts during their stay. Court hire is booked separately through Playtomic.
Can hotel guests book the Recovery Hub?
Yes. Recovery Hub sessions are available to both hotel guests and visitors and can be booked directly with Talbot Fitness.
What is Talbot Padel Club?
Talbot Padel Club is home to Carlow and Laois' first outdoor padel courts. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced player, our courts provide a fun, social experience for players of all abilities.
How do I book a padel court?
All padel court bookings are made online through the Playtomic app, where you can check availability and reserve your preferred time.
Can I hire a padel racket?
Yes. We offer padel racket hire, making it easy to enjoy a game even if you don't own your own equipment.
Padel balls are also available to purchase.
Is padel suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Padel is easy to learn, suitable for all ages and one of the fastest-growing sports in Ireland. It's a great activity for friends, families, couples and work colleagues.

What is the Recovery Hub?
The Recovery Hub is a dedicated wellness space designed to help reduce muscle soreness, improve circulation and support recovery after exercise.
It features Normatec Compression Therapy, trusted by professional athletes and sports teams around the world.
Who can use the Recovery Hub?
The Recovery Hub is suitable for everyone, including:

Do I need to be a member to use the Recovery Hub?
No. Recovery Hub sessions are available to both members and non-members and can be booked directly with Talbot Fitness.
