On the 17th of February, we started the exciting process of renovating our beloved main bar. After months of hard work and anticipation, we joyfully welcomed everyone back through our doors on Monday, the 10th of June. As part of our transformation, we are thrilled to present An Bhearú - Carlow's Newest Bar & Bistro! We're excited to offer you a relaxed dining experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere, serving delicious good 7 days a week from 9.00 am. Here's a glimpse of our offerings:
- From 9:00 am: Enjoy our specialty coffees, and herbal teas, along with freshly baked homemade scones & pastries.
- 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm: Indulge in our carvery & lunch menu (available until 3.30 pm on Sundays).
- 3:00 pm to 9:15 pm: Explore our evening menu (served from 4:00 pm on Sundays).
We're more than happy to cater to Group Bookings, and while groups of over 20 adults will dine from a Reduced Menu, if your group wishes to dine from our full Evening Menu, the tables will be split to accommodate your preferences.
Hotel Residents on a Dinner-Inclusive Package have the delightful opportunity to dine in our 4th Floor Liberty Tree Restaurant on Friday & Saturday evenings from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, allowing you to savour decadent cuisine while taking in stunning views of the Carlow Countryside and Hills of Killeshin. At Talbot Hotel Carlow, we take pride in offering an extensive array of menu options and accompanying wines for any dining occasion, ensuring a memorable and delightful experience in an atmosphere that radiates warmth and friendliness – a true reflection of Irish Hospitality.
Start your day with our delightful breakfast served in our Liberty Tree Restaurant, 7 days a week from 7:00 am to 10:00 am (until 10:30 am on weekends, including Bank Holiday Mondays). Indulge in a Full Buffet Breakfast featuring locally sourced produce, as our Executive Head Chef Nigel passionately uses local fresh produce in all his creations.
