Is the internet available and what is the cost?
High-speed Internet access is available throughout the hotel for guests, provided on a complimentary basis.
What time can I check-in and what time do I need to check out?
Check-in time is from 16.00 and check-out time is 12.00 noon. If you arrive earlier than 16.00 we can store your luggage until your room is ready. Late checkout may be arranged, subject to availability. Please note that a late checkout fee will apply and will be advised at the time of booking.
Is smoking permitted in the hotel?
There is a non-smoking policy in the entire hotel. For those who wish to smoke, we have a smoking area outside the hotel door. €100 fine applies if you smoke in the room.
Do you have family rooms?
Talbot Hotel Carlow has a choice of rooms suitable for up to 2 adults and 2 children. We accommodate families with either a roll away bed or a cot. We also have an option of interconnecting rooms for large families.

Do you have a restaurant?
Full Irish breakfast is served each morning in the Liberty Tree Restaurant on the 4th floor. We also have Corries Bar & Bistro where we serve carvery lunch daily as well as an evening menu.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to arrival. If you cancel within the 24-hour period the first night’s accommodation is charged. In the case of an Advance Purchase, these bookings are non-refundable.
