Malteser Cheesecake
The Preparation & The Ingredients
- 800g Biscuits
- 400g Butter
- Assemble 4 large Cheesecake Tins, line with Plastic Strips, set in Fridge
- 24 Sheets of Gelatine (soaked in cold water)
- 1 Carton Natural Yoghurt
- 2 Cups of Sugar
- 1,360g cream cheese
- Crushed Maltesers
- 4 Pints Softly Whipped Cream
The Method
- Disolve Gelatine leaves in Cold Water
- Whip Cream to Soft Peaks
- Blend Sugar, Yoghurt, Cream Cheese in robo-coupe (Mixer)
- Melt Gelatine, allow to cool slightly
- Add some cream cheese mix to the gelatine and fold back into the mix, fold in maltesers and whipped cream
- Place mix onto biscuit
- To Dree - Malteser cream & caramel sauce on base of plate, sprig of mint & halve strawberry
