Malteser Cheesecake

The Preparation & The Ingredients

  • 800g Biscuits
  • 400g Butter
  • Assemble 4 large Cheesecake Tins, line with Plastic Strips, set in Fridge
  • 24 Sheets of Gelatine (soaked in cold water)
  • 1 Carton Natural Yoghurt
  • 2 Cups of Sugar
  • 1,360g cream cheese
  • Crushed Maltesers
  • 4 Pints Softly Whipped Cream


The Method

  • Disolve Gelatine leaves in Cold Water
  • Whip Cream to Soft Peaks
  • Blend Sugar, Yoghurt, Cream Cheese in robo-coupe (Mixer)
  • Melt Gelatine, allow to cool slightly
  • Add some cream cheese mix to the gelatine and fold back into the mix, fold in maltesers and whipped cream
  • Place mix onto biscuit
  • To Dree - Malteser cream & caramel sauce on base of plate, sprig of mint & halve strawberry
